By the time you get to have a restaurant that's old enough to drive, you learn how to get things right. You know the best brews, and the blues they go with. You know how sweet to make the tea, and whom to make it even sweeter for. You know where all the bar stools should go and how to keep the Tiki Bar tiki-ing until the wee hours of the morning. You give it a sweet three letter name: the PIT.

Yet some things never change. Our Island Country Club is still a triple-decker like it’s always been. The Psycho Burger is just as crazy. Our cocktails are still just right, and our Sundays are still just lazy. We wanted a place that we could all go — with our kids or with our parents, with our golf buddies, as locals or wish-we-were-locals — and enjoy it just the same. And so we did. We’ll never call ourselves perfect, but we might just call our crabcakes that, if you don’t mind.
